====== Motorized Impact Hammer System ====== The motorized hammer system was designed and built by [[https://ccrma.stanford.edu/~mrau/)|Mark Rau]] to allow precise motorized triggering and control of either of our miniature impact hammers ([[http://www.pcb.com/spec_sheet.asp?model=086E80|PCB Model 086E80]] or {{:equipment:bp0822.pdf|B&K Type 8203}}). The system consists of a stepper motor that is controlled by an Arduino microcontroller. The system has an attached trigger button that can be used to manually trigger the hammer, though the hammer can also be triggered by sending it a serial command message. The system includes a rotary potentiometer that can be used to adjust the pullback level.
