The 9th edition of DAFx was organized by the SPCL, Music Technology Group of the Schulich School of Music, McGill University.

Three keynote talks were given by experts:

• Bruno Torrésani, from LATP, Université de Provence, Marseille, France
• Julius O. Smith, from CCRMA, Stanford University, Stanford, USA
• Stephen McAdams, from CIRMMT, McGill University, Montreal, Canada

All papers are online, as well as some of posters and slides.

The 2nd Enactive Workshop, May 25- 27 2006, will consist of research talks by Enactive partners and group discussions on the various aspects of the project.

Invited talks will be given by Prof. Vincent Hayward (Electrical and Computer Engineering, CIM, CIRMMT, McGill) and by Prof. Stephen McAdams (Schulich School of Music, CIRMMT, McGill).

Research sessions include: “Theoretical issues on Enactive Interfaces”, “Technology for Enactive Interfaces”, “Enactive Interfaces and human studies”, and “Enactive Interfaces and Applications”.

The workshop will take place at the Tanna Schulich Hall, McGill University, 555 Sherbrooke Street West, H3A 1E3, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
