Liederwölfe is a collective of professional musicians who bring vocal music from the past 731 years to any venue, from pubs to parking lots to palaces.

Liederwölfe has performed to several packed houses in bars more usually known for their rock, reggae or indie shows. Past performances have also taken places in cafés, galleries, weddings, and the street. Liederwölfe has also volunteered its musical talents for fundraisers and at seniors' homes.

"But...", you're probably asking yourself, "Opera in a bar?". Lindsay Michael, founding member of the collective, explains the desire to create performance opportunities in non-traditional environments:

"We know there are music-lovers of all stripes out there that enjoy classical music but are intimidated or turned off by the concert hall. We want people to be in charge of their experience; Walk around, talk, have a pint. In a bar no one's trapped. And if you don't like it, leave! We just want people to give it a try."
