Goals

  1. Evaluate the oscillating component of breath pressure used in wind instrument performance.

  2. Evaluate ability of commercial pressure transducers to sense oscillatory content:
    • Can they do it?
    • In what frequency range?

  3. Evaluate ability of commercial MIDI wind controllers to sense oscillatory content in breath signals.
