A course designed to examine digital signal processing techniques as applied to computer music applications. Topics include: theoretical background of digital synthesis and processing techniques (sampling theory, FM, linear and nonlinear synthesis systems), mixed digital synthesis systems (MIDI), direct digital synthesis (Csound, SuperCollider), various music synthesis, and processing languages.
