Author

The author of the HotMedia file.

Copyright

Description

A brief description of the HotMedia file.

Applet size

The width and height of the applet window that will be written into the applet tag in the sample html page. The assembly tool attempts to guess what the size of the applet window should be. The rules for these guesses are as follows.

For a HotMedia file that contains a thumbnail only, the width and height of the applet is the width and height of the thumbnail image, unless the author specifies Snap Enabled in the Thumbnail Image Effects options. In this case, the width of the applet will be divided by the Number of frames specified in the Thumbnail Image Effects options and the height will be the height of the thumbnail.

For a HotMedia file that contains an animation, the width and height of the applet is the width and height of the first animation image.

The user can override the width and height of the applet by entering the width and height that is needed.

Publish

Use this option to save the HotMedia file and the sample html file to disk. The sample html file will refer to the HotMedia file in the applet tag. Use the html file along with the Java package to play the HotMedia file.
