After downloading HotMediaInstall.exe from the HotMedia website (http://www.software.ibm.com/net.media) or after acquiring it from another source:
- Execute this program. (You may double-click on it from Windows Explorer.)
- You should briefly see the HotMedia install image:
- Follow the instructions on the installation screens.
- You may want to reboot your machine to insure all file type registrations have completed or you may run HotMedia (from your start menu now).
Note: HotMedia does not write to any system directories and does not overwrite any system files on your machine.
