This is a tutorial on the HotMedia toolkit. It is intended to help you understand how to take advantage of the capabilities of the toolkit to create HotMedia projects.
The tutorials contain both high and low bandwidth examples in order to demonstrate how to reduce large multimedia concepts into lightweight, web-friendly HotMedia presentations.
These pages demonstrate a number of HotMedia applications and how they are created. In addition to working through this tutorial, you may learn more on your own by using the authoring tools to open the HotMedia files in the tutorial directory to see how they are constructed.
This tutorial should be used in conjunction with the documentation provided with the HotMedia toolkit. It assumes that you have a basic understanding of how to use the HotMedia authoring tools.
