When you add an image to the animation screen, you are prompted as to whether the image will be zoomed.
If this is selected, the assembly tool can be used to compute a sequence of images producing a zoom.
For instance, if you have a large high-resolution image (shrunk here)...
...and you select the IBM in the zoom sequencer, and set the number of interim frames to 5. ..
