In August, 1996, the Faculty of Music at McGill University sponsored the 4th ICMPC. This interdisciplinary conference presented a variety of aspects of music perception and congnition:psychoacoustics, music performance, musical development, music modeling, music analysis, neuro-psychology, psychomusicology, music sociology and other related fields of enquiry.
