Any saved patch can be used as an "object" in another patch (sometimes referred to as an
abstraction
)
In order to communicate with such an object, it should include inlets/outlets or send/receive objects
You cannot edit a "file" object without explicitly opening that patch
The saved patch must be located where Max can find it
