RtFFT: A realtime spectrum analyzer

RtFFT: A realtime spectrum analyzer

Introduction

RtFFT is a fairly basic realtime spectrum analyzer. It can simultaneously display an arbitrary number of FFT signals, which correspond to the spectra of data input from one or more channels of your computer soundcard. The plot window can be zoomed to any arbitrary limits. Controls are provided for the FFT size, the window type, and window averaging.

RtFFT was developed by Gary P. Scavone using Qt and Qwt for the user interface, RtAudio for audio input, and fftw for the FFT calculations. It is supported on Macintosh OS-X, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
