Animation Tab and Workspace

What is an animation ?

Animation is an effect achieved by flipping between a sequence of images. The images, the sequence of images in an animation, and the animation behavior are all under the control of the author.

Add/Create Animation Frame(s)

To add a set of images to an animation click on the Add Frame button.

You are given three options:

Import Image File(s)

Choose the image or images that you have previously created. The images will be added to the animation workspace.

Note: The order of multiple selections in the add images dialog may cause the first image and the last image selected to switch around. This is Windows functionality.

Import AVI File

Not supported in version 1.1.

Create Zoom Sequence(s)

This will bring up a new window which will allow you to create a zoom sequence animation. An initial large image is imported, and several animation tracks depicting zooms into selected parts of the original image are created. See Zoom Sequence Editor.

Delete Frame

To delete a frame from an animation, click on the frame that you wish to delete and then click on the Delete Frame button. Frames can be deleted one at a time only.

Move Frames

To move a frame to a different position in the animation sequence click on the frame and drag it to the new position. Other frames will be automatically adjusted to facilitate the move.
