- the opening antecedent of the minore models closely the antecedent of the theme, except for the added chromaticism leading to the HC; the second phrase, which was a simple continuation in the theme, is now supported by an expanded cadential progression to yield a cadential phrase, thus creating the overall hybrid type antecedent + cadential.
