MUMT 306: Final Projects

Student projects for this course could include:

modular Max/MSP or Pd patches for control of sequencing/looping and/or sound generation
digital music instruments or installations created with the Arduino
algorithmic music generators (trance, minimalism, techno, ...)
MIDI improvisation systems
sonification of data or images
simple audio effects or synthesis

Grading will be based on:

presentation (organization, clarity): 5%
web write-up (well documented / organized, grammatically correct): 5%
research and/or development (quality of results, scope, diligence, effort): 10%
